Today was one of those days and these two items were in a selection of porcelain.

The first is 31 cm tall and appears to be hand painted in an art nouveau style cartouche. So I Am guessing it is c1900 and perhaps Bohemian. Milk glass?

The second is smaller at 21cm tall. This appears to be clear glass that has been coated in blue glass and then cut away.

I have no ideas about this one.

    Can anybody help?

That certainly looks like a portrait of Shelley on the first one.

for the first one, I think Bohemian or French, portrait vase, opaline glass.
here is a listing for a pair, they say British Bristol Glass, no idea if that is correct

Wonder if they're not meant to be Mary and Percy. Paired here in cufflinks.

Grrr, Bristol Glass! One of those utterly misused terms. ;)

Yeah, Bohemian late 19th on the first.

Second wants to be blue flashed cut to clear but actually looks pressed.

Perhaps pressed with a semi-gloss blue enamel overlay. It certainly could be, based upon the photos.
