DSC04850_Small.jpg DSC04851_Small.jpg DSC04852_Small.jpg DSC05042_small.jpg DSC05043_small.jpg I am trying to determine whether this bowl is Chinese or Japanese and how old it is. I have done some research, which has still left me confused. This was originally my grandmother's, who was very interested in the Japanese culture. After reading the information on a website referred to me from another posting on this site I am still confused, but leaning toward Chinese. The site suggested was: https://collect-sell.com/japanese-cloisonne-vs-chinese-cloisonne/. Is this Chinese or Japanese? Any idea how old?

You are right, it is a Chinese one. Difficult to date, looks like it has had quite a hard life. I suspect it is most likely early 20th century, perhaps a little earlier.
