1947 Aunt Jemima Pillsbury National Oats Safe T Cone National Biscuit Comic Newspaper

    I had this item on another site and didn't get an answer.I have googled but still nothing,maybe someone on this forum can help. I need some information on the large book of Sunday comic paper 1947,it appeared to be some type of combination of different papers,the front has,1947 Aunt Jemima Pillsbury National Oats Safe-T-Cone National Biscuit,the bottom has the name,Methropolitan Group Library,there's about 20 or more large comic newspaper,Dick Tray,Lil Abner,Nancy,Alley Oop,many more,I can't find out anything about this item,I would love to have some info,also has many Aunt Jemima's advertising.I bought this from a friend attic about 20+ SAM_1360.JPG SAM_1361.JPG SAM_1364.JPG SAM_1362.JPG SAM_1363.JPG SAM_1364.JPG SAM_1365.JPG SAM_1367.JPG years ago.

    Metropolitan Groups appears to have been a national newspaper network. As above. They would have assembled hard copy samples of their work in this manner for the company archive (aka library.)
