Jade? Chunk Carved Native American & Bear

    Any thoughts?

    Close-up doesn't look like jade to me; and I'd think not Native-made, possibly just home craftsperson

    It's not jade with that crystal structure.

    A bit like granite, but if so, with very little visible feldspar.....

    Perhaps low quality marble (and low quality carving).

    There is what looks like a larger crystal in the third photo down at the 3 o'clock position,maybe turn the piece and get a clear photo of that area.

    FB0E7F89-2D42-4620-AF4A-CBA3023841FF.jpeg 68B216B0-D99B-466D-96C7-52D984BD5F98.jpeg By the way, the rock has a slighly greenish-bluish tint but can’t capture the true hue with my camera.Appears to be quite hard and seems like carved by hand but not with a high speed tool.
