What would you call this?

    This old rock has been in my family ever since I can remember but I don't know where it came from. Do you think it is all natural or was it partly fashioned by someone?
    It's about 12 1/2 inches tall and 7 1/2 inches front to back. That is a 12 oz soda can in one photo.
    I always thought it looked like the head of a man with a hat on. I can't tell you what my older sister thought it looked like!
    This is probably not a typical "antique" asked about here but I would love some opinions. What kind of rock would you say that is?

    It looks like granite. I think its supposed to be a mushroom,but add me to the list of what your sis thinks it looks like!

    Certainly granite. It looks like a very worn staddle stone.
