    This is more a question than an answer. How do the other areas in the painting look by comparison? It could be a signature but since there is a line/branch cutting across it I wonder if it's just a branch similar to some others. Any chance there is a signature in the bottom right?

    Like s-i-s I think it is just a random squiggle. Is there anything resembling a signature in one of the lower corners?
