20180915_234401.jpg Picked this up the other day, cant find anything quite like it. Full of sweaters from Ireland lol. Anyone run into this before? No markings or stamps to identify the manufacturer

Looks like a fairly modern pine blanket box to me.

    Hi,
Looks like a cedar lined hope chest. Looks like the 50s to me 1950s.

Welcome to the Forum Jackalopekiller! :) I agree with the others cedar benket chest, hope chest. But why is part of a leg attached on the front? Or is that a problem of the photo?

Looks like a cedar chest to me too. Cedar to help keep the wool moths away from those Irish sweaters:). They are the devil to get rid of once they take up residence in your house (and I know:().

Pretty standard American cedar chest. Would say more 40s than 50s.

Sweaters are probably worth more than the chest. Definitely looks like a good old American cedar chest from the 40's to 50's. We have a couple full of sweaters and wool blankets.
