Hi all. I found this vase at a thrift shop. I'm really cheap, so I thought I'd get some advice BEFORE wasting money this time. Hoping someone can tell me if it's anything special, or should I pass? Thanks in advance for any help at all.

Notice how they didn't get the paint within the lines? This is an indicator of modern, hasty, factory work. Now that doesn't mean that older pieces are perfect, but the overall sense is quick and dirty. Does that help?

I agree with the others. And it may not be Chinese made.
Since it isn't yours, I feel free to say that it is ugly as sin.:yuck::playful:

Ross dress for less pottery aisle ...not that there is anything wrong with that ... I kick myself for not buying the layered glass vase with the yellow parrots .... it was too neat , I went back an hour later and it was no where to be seen..... 8 years ago.... should have bought it .
