Featured Louis Feraud silk square ( scarf)......Vintage 90's...or before...

Calm down gals, it's just a silk square...or sometimes called a scarf.
I need more eyes on this one....please.
I've seen several name logo's...but none that look like he signed the scarf in his own handwriting .

I'm thinking this could be one of the earliest this house put on the market....but can't find others like it.
Maybe even his own printing.....
Any fashioneastas care to comment ?
It's 34 inches square.

 

"Made in France" would lead me to believe it was early. (Certainly looks 1970s.) And, yes, likely his own design.

........& while I know it's a hand rolled edge, printed silk square....likely bought by Mom in England in 72.....the siggy,,,,covering the black printed line....almost looks hand signed.....!

 

I would so frame that and hang it up !

BUT.....mine's design......Ohhhhhh !!!!

 

It's certainly screaming late 60s. And the absence of the later 1970s mandatory care labels indicates that, too.

 

I also have what I think is an very early scarf. Colours are outstanding of poppies in a field of green and yellow. The signature is the same and the tag reads the same. The hand rolled edges are immaculate. Any idea of history or current value would be appreciated.

No, listing long gone. I see on eBay France that Feraud scarves have recently been listed for between 35 and 100 EUR but no sales. However, designs were nothing like komokwa's example which was spectacular.

Agree vintage. I’d guess 80s off that tag. Today Italy pretty much owns the silk scarf market with a few exceptions. It’s a beuty and a great size!
