N/A necklace?

Bought this this morning from U.K. Charity shop.
Likely to be a tourist item I suppose but wondering if they are being made elsewhere, maybe China or India. The ring clasp is wooden, the cords are different colours and thickness. Any thoughts please? Thank you.

 

I think it is a craft necklace. Not NA.

 

The wooden catch is a bit of a giveaway I suppose, I couldn’t see any others with one like this but it had some pointers in the turquoise, coral, amber, spiny oyster and carnelian that made me think perhaps.
Still at £1.49 it was a bargain

And a pretty one at that !!! I would have bought it !!!

 

These are sold like mad in "hippy markets" in Spain and Greece. Some originate in the country, some made overseas. I like them.

 

I actually think it’s commercially made for export. Probably China but definitely attractive.
