Please help with Vase identification

    It is kind of in the Japanese Tokoname style with polychrome detail, but I'm not sure if it's a slightly later Chinese version. I don't see many of them here in the UK so I'm not very familiar with them. The last character of the mark is Sei (Japanese) Zhi (Chinese) and in this context will mean 'made' in both languages. Unfortunately the 1st character isn't clear enough to read - that might have helped a lot.

    Thanks, it's not your pictures though, it was smudged during production. An expert or native speaker may be able to help you further. Maybe a facebook pottery group or similar with Chinese speakers.
