The three stone (Cairngorm?) one is my favourite too. Is there some kind of siggy on the back, or does it just look that way?

 

It's just a scratch, I think, there's no discernable marks. It's really well made, the stone carrier is separate and sort of hooked in. I think the stones are all Cairngorm, too.

How old do you think they are?

 

The round is late nineteenth with that back - 1880s ish or slightly later. Bar a tad after, probably Edwardian. Think of those high necked blouses.

Such a lovely contrast between the bright colored stones and the silver color of the background. They speak to me too.

 

They're in superb condition, I'm very pleased. The bar one was a tad mucky so it had an ultrasound bath, came up nicely.

 

Me too. Those are beauties. The Scots don't export nice cairngorm pieces; they're usually too busy wearing them. Or selling them to addicted Neighbors below the Border.

 

It DOES look like a couple of letters have been scratched in there, BUT, OBB does have it in hand, sooooo! LOVE the 'triple' the best too!!!!
