Anyone know what this is?

    Porcelain, semi translucent. 5 1/4" tall, soot marks internally. Was it a lamp chimney, or used to warm something, or vaporise? Or something else. Base looks like it would slot into something. Hexagonal in shape

    Found with a load of Worcester porcelain

    Think there would have been a base & held a candle to give the look of church windows lit from inside.

    Yes, that may be it. I've tried it with a torch and there is a faint glow visible, just not sure how decorative it would be

    Cleaning out the soot might allow a tad more light through.
