Featured Hydra Jug with Bohemia Mark

    Can anyone help with this mark? It looks new/newish (reminds me of newer Wedgwood mark) but I can't seem to find it. No country of origin, just "Patent" under the mark. Maybe Japan? The jug is 5 3/8" tall and the trim is silver (which I haven't polished).

    Thank you for the leads! Plata de Ley means sterling silver in Portuguese. There were several additional eBay listings in Portuguese for similar pitchers. None of the listings in the links say where the piece was made, but maybe Portugal.

    Plata de ley is also Spanish for silver, just to throw that in.

    I don't know why, but when every I see this silver deposit and floral combination, I think 1930s Czechoslovakian. I have no basis for why I think that.
