Another car boot sale waif and stray buy . A stack of old prints that the seller didn’t want to take home. I will put the others on a separate post.
As usual I have no idea what I am looking at and would appreciate some help please.
I think they are lithographs (if that is the correct terminology?) and by Clarkson Frederick Stansfield. They are large at approx 12” x24”.
The glass is intact but there are no frames. The black flecks are paint flakes off the reverse painted frame but will brush off.
Are they worth restoration? ( cleaning and repainting the glass, reframing).
I’ve looked online and got some hits on Tineye reverse image but nothing of much help.
    Thankyou for any advice :)

Thankyou Houseful,It says underneath that is a photographic reproduction but I’ve struggled to find the same print other than modern ones or even where the original hangs. It’s pretty old so fading is probably pretty inevitable?
I’d love to know how to date them too.

The framers were Edwardian and situated about 5 miles from me.

I was looking at the phone number. Idle curiosity- Is Cent short for something or the name of the place?

    Probably "Century" as the exchange?

    Its Central.

For years the city was divided into Eastern, Central and Western divisions for all the emergency services and telephones.
Chanterlands avenue falls into the Central area

These were probably decorator pieces, probably sold to the framer to kit out and sell to patrons looking for stuff for their walls.
