Pottery mark identification help - Transferware

Hello
I am unable to find this mark and am thinking it is a repro.
Was hoping someone out there may have seen the same mark and can provide some feedback.
The mark is on small black transferware jug. Just seems too clean to be old.
Any help would be appreciated.

From the crackle, it could be new and Chinese.

 

This site shows three different makers that used M&Co marks. I've added examples though none like yours and only one of the Moores are in the book I referenced. Perhaps a photo of the whole piece would give more clues.

I think they said it was a jug. Maybe a photo of the piece would help.

Owned, I'm guessing that nope, Minton means you believe it's Minton which is one of the M&Co listed on the potteries site and one that I posted which mentions that several other M&Co marks were made.

 

I do! I've had a trawl through assorted tomes, too. I was actually replying to moreotherstuff, you pipped me.

Mid to late 19th C. Interesting pattern: now I can see why it's Elfin.
