Vintage Skateboard Storage

    When DS#2 was skateboarding in the 1990s, his skateboard would look like this within 2 months of hard riding.

    My first skateboard was a 2 x 4 I found in the garage with the two halves of this nailed on either end. Can you say "dain bramage?"

    When I clicked on the thread I was expecting to see some clever, vintage storage rack for skate boards :rolleyes:

    No sorry necessary!!! Based on the title of the thread I just though it was funny I expected a rack and you wanted to know about a board :)

    As @Marie Forjan has said no apologies necessary at all. No one can possibly know everything & if they did it would get very boring around here.

    BTW the only reason I was able to help in any way is because my younger son rode a skateboard all the time back in the early 90's & there are still some pieces & parts out in the garage. I knew there was a specific name for that part of the board but had to do a little Googling to jog the old brain.

    It's not one of the earliest boards. Those were not far from being commercially made 2 x 4s on roller skate wheels.
