I have these 2 elegant, I think hand painted, porcelain plates I would love to identify their maker. I think they are hand painted flowers, but not sure. They are unmarked as to maker but has hand painted numbers & initials on back. Any information would be appreciated. 29A89A1A-EC79-43BA-BA1C-B5607DF883BA.jpeg

I think they are printed possibly hand coloured. Most probably English late 19th century

Also there seems to be an impressed mark. Any chance of a better photo of it?

The caduceus mark looks like the one used by Powell, Bishop, and Stonier. LINK.

Thank you! Sorry I have had family issues and haven't been online and now my photos say HEIC and not the photo extensions required. I use my Apple phone and any help will be appreciated because until I can figure out how to take a photo with the right extensions, I cannot attach them. However, without the photos, I will say I have another plate that has the same impressed mark, but not the same floral designs. I cannot tell for sure if the mark is a "caduceus" mark as it has no ink in it, just impressed, but it does look a lot like it. The difference being it looks flat where the head would be though. Just can't tell myself. Did they use just impressed marks without ink? Thank you for your help. I will try to figure out why my photos now have different extensions.

No I do believe you are right. One mark looks flat but the other does look like the caduceus mark, so I do assume they impressed it without ink as well?

I finally had time to get back online. Could you tell me if the caduceus mark used by Powell, Bishop and Stonier was just impressed without ink? You can read my full reply above.

What is the difference between hand painted and hand colored? Just noticed your working. I did put other photos. Thank you.
