What age is this velvet photo frame?

Hi all, apologies it this isn't the correct forum! I picked up this oval photo frame this weekend- 11"L x 8.5"W. I could tell it was "vintage" but thought probably not very old (the pale salmon pink always make me think 1980s) I wanted to get opinions on age however, as I saw one similar listed elsewhere that had it as much older. The little holders on the back are metal and it has tiny nails (neither of which I would expect from the 80s). It is velvet with gold trim on wood, glass and a ribbon holding the stand. It would be nice to put a decade appropriate photo in it to show it off Thoughts appreciated!

 

I'd think it was late 1950s/early 1960s but... that's just a guess.

My immediate reaction was 50s - early 60s but I was so unsure I didn't want to say so until I saw Debora's VGG (very good guess).

I added a picture to show it off better (only a print out and probably a little more glamorous than would have been in it originally!)

 

Open it up and check the back and see what colors it was originally. I was thinking even older, but early 50s sounds good.

 

I opened up the back, but can only see the color that is seen in the pictures!

 

The 30s or even older ones would be faded - the fabric dyes don't always hold up. So 50s or 60s it is.
