Featured Royal Copenhagen/Aluminia Faience Question

This is not an antique, but I hope someone can help with my questions.
This Tranquebar mustard dish is from 1951 (if I figured out the code correctly)

The knob on the lid is not the flower bud shape for this item that I usually see (think I've seen only one other mustard with this knob in the year or two that I've had this) Anyone know why?

My other concern is that the lid is unmarked on the underside, where every other lidded piece that I've come across in this pattern has been marked. Should I be concerned? Are there normally pieces with unmarked lids?

 

What I see is that the pattern matches for the lid.
#1 - the two stripes are repeated from knob to bowl.
#2 - the "X" is every other one with a "+" in every other one. Also repeated from knob to bowl.
#3 - the leaf is similar but not the same, 3 petal not 5 - not sure if that is as important as the other elements.

Just noticed the band also repeats the basket weave pattern on the lid and the base.

 

It's very cute.....could the top be from another design of the same line..?

 

If they weren't originally together they're an awfully good marriage.

 

If this pattern was made 1912-2003, as it says on the replacements site, maybe the lids changed at some point.

 

That wouldn't explain the lack of a mark on the lid? Unless the lid is a second. My head is starting to hurt.

Thanks for trying to figure this out I think they make a scratch over the glaze right through the mark on their seconds .... do they have 'thirds'? (just kidding ... I don't see any glaring flaws ... other than that knob)

 

Well, I've emailed my concerns to a site that deals with a lot of Danish porcelain/china to get their thoughts on this lid. I'll update if/when they reply.
