    My initial thought was newer but am not so sure. Could we get a closer look at the band around the neck of the spigot opening? Metal?

    I've a lot of Doulton Lambeth, including industrial stuff. It's not one of their shapes, it's not marked, the glaze is wrong, so is the clay. Other than that. ;)
