Help with age and name

    There’s one for sale here in U.K. on Pickclick and they have listed it as Hunter with Dog and Gun. They are asking for bids over £5.99 with a day or so to go.

    This is a post WWII 20th century item (and maybe even 21st century because they are still being made) by one of the several people who hype these as "collectible" items "in the manner of Capodimonte." Because there are no trademark restrictions on the use of the name Capodimonte, these "artists" have taken advantage of that as a marketing strategy. The original Capodimonte factory of Naples was closed in 1759. There is no connection between these and the original.

    The range of modern Capodimonte is wide, from the truly awful to some lovely pieces!
