Plate

    This is my first post and I hopefully will have some success with identifying this lovely plate. I have compressed the photo's. Please let me know if I need to modify any part of this post. Thank you.

    Hard for me to put an age on it, but I think it's probably mid 20th century at the earliest. The character on the bottom is Fu (good fortune). It is Chinese and the figures look like scholars.

    Nice looking plate. If I were the OP I'd check the bottom of the candlestick next to it for silver marks. It looks like weighted sterling.
