    Hello
I'm helping my mom downsize. She has this dresser she wants to sell but knows nothing about it. Marble top, drawers are dovetail, hardware is interesting and it has interesting carvings. Can't find anything similar on internet.
    Thanks for any insights Screenshot_20210619-085244~3.png

id guess 1870s-80s .Looks like it was cut down. With a marble top it might have been a wash stand, but you dont give measurements so its a guess.

It's a Victorian Eastlake dresser, probably quarter-sawn oak under the paint. Lovely original brass hardware! A mirror or backsplash may have stood on top at one time, any evidence of that behind or underneath the marble? The skirt looks as if it should be raised above the floor more, not sure what's going on there. Perhaps it had casters or plinths. You can look underneath for caster sockets.

Agree with Darkwing, but the wood is probably walnut.
