Any ideas

hello again everyone I have a rock iam trying to identify I know rocks isn’t really something that this forum specializes in but maybe there is a rock hound somewhere here so I thought I would try someone wrote on the bottom but I can’t make out what it says if someone might know that would be great. Thanks.

The writing could be cassiterite(tin),maybe someone else can decipher the rest.

 

Almost looks like a fossil with the excavation marks around it.
Not sure what though.

 

I think Holly nailed it: Cassiterite (Tin). Next word I think is 'found', so you're looking for place/location words after that.

Naaaaaaah! Looks like a lovely lump of pure gold But seriously, this is all I could clean/lighten it up........I know......not overly helpful........ by the way........that's teasingly aggravating to NOT be able to read the note!!

 

Could be, “Stream tin” or "wood tin" Cassiterite encased in sandstone (possibly...hard to tell from the pic).
