1970 Abstract painting signed R. Bergman - is this Robert Bergman; photographer & artist?

    I found this at my local thrift store today - at $5 I would have taken it unsigned! But when I googled R. Bergman I came across Robert Bergman who was known for his photographs AND his paintings - is this by him?

    i quite like it, although it probably isnt by the photographer, really good buy at $5

    I wasn't holding my breath but for $5 I thought I'd check here - I've seen worse like a. Blank canvas except for a circle or a triangle only that sold for ridiculous money!
