Interestingish Painting no signature.

Also got this yesterday.. again no signature. Do you think it's done by a proper artist or just a child/ amateur?

Some professional artists have done child-like work. But my impression is this was probably done by a child.

 

Is it a very, very, very early Picasso?

To much attention detail and imagery for a child. Looks like some animation skills in the legs of the horse. Doesn't mean that it isn't a very talented high school art major though.

 

In a former life, I taught art to kids from elementary through high school age. I had students who were this good, and it really looks to me like the work of a talented pre-adolescent. Sure, some kids wouldn't be capable of this, but some are.
