Featured Help w. bracelet please

Could you please help me with some keywords to search for this bracelet (and maybe the age) ? Not sterling and there are some words on the hang tag, but I can't read them.. thank you !

 

It looks like Niello. Maybe Russian. The tag looks like it might be a university/college crest.

 

A good quality close-up photograph of the charm would be helpful.

Have you tested it ?, sure looks like silver

If the bracelet isn't silver (assuming you tested it), wonder if the charm might be? Sort of looks like a different material. Also wondering if maybe the charm was added later?

It looks like silver, but unfortunately it does not test as silver..

Later edit: I've retested the bracelet with 18k solution and I got a very faint (blue) response.. but, the central part has some chips on the back and if I look through the magnifying glass, they look black.. which makes me think it's just plated ?
Their website says they are using 925 grade silver.... so, I don't know..

It looks like sterling silver to me. Sometimes pitting will occur.

I'm seeing more similarities to the bracelet and necklace shown in this old thread https://www.antiquers.com/threads/vintage-costume-jewelry-piece-fraternity-bracelet.60707/
than to Niello. Rolled or stamped designed pieces rather than engraved.

Starting to wonder if that little dangle might be fraternity/sorority related.
