Trying to i.d. a Huge Wall Clock...France

    Hello everyone. Well, I picked up this thing at a garage sale and I was wondering if anyone had a clue about it. It only says France on it. I think it's from the 50's, but who knows. I can't find anything like it on the net. Can someone help ? Thanks. smallfrance.JPG

    Does look 50's-60's. If the leaf work is steel, it's somewhat like the work from Italy. Examining the movement will answer many questions as to origins & age.

    Your not going to believe this but I just found another one locally on CL and bought it ! LOL It's even bigger than this one, but looks like the movement was replaced with a cheesy battery one. I'll post some pics as soon as I get it out of my van.
