Featured Help to identify what appears to be a very old bangle

Hi All,

I recently bought a job lot of watches along with these came a reasonable amount of costume jewelry, the bangle was part of this haul and stood out to me as something unusual, watches are my thing so I maybe very wrong. I would be grateful if anyone could help identify this or put me on the right track.

This reminds me of those temple kada bangles from India. They usually portray deities like Ganesh etc. might be what this is, perhaps a souvenir?
