Please help ID spoons maybe sterling and marks. Thank you

    Neither one is sterling. First one is British silver plate, second is made of Nickel Silver. I'll be back with maker info and rough dates in a few minutes.

    wow. Thank you!! I had my doubts, they felt different but I am so far from an expert that I had to ask.

    I haven't found an exact match for the JD & S mark. Could be James Deakin and Son or (less likely but possible) James Dixon and Sons. Both would be late 1800's.
