Gorham Silver

Hi. I have a silver teapot with GORHAM logo on it. Wondering how valuable it is, as priced on internet are all over the place. Thank you for any help.

 

This pot is silverplated and not sterling. Be sure you are comparing to other silverplated pots. Frankly, plated items are a tough sell these days - the younger generation doesn't want anything that requires polishing.

 

Not sure why the entire teapot isn't posted, gives no idea of its overall appearance, and can only see part of what looks to be a nice finial - while unlikely to bring any big money, it's by a desirable, quality maker, was made in 1868, and though certainly hard to tell from what is shown, looks like it might be in good condition...

I don’t know the market for Gorham plated teapots but that’s a pretty dang nice one. I’d think it would sell at least as compared to some that no one would even bother with.
