unusual table lamp

Hello
Might anyone know whose this table lamp is? I mean a designer i never seen anything similar to this. I looked all the internet but i really can't find anything similar. i would really appreciate your thoughts on this. I bought it in Italy not so long ago, it has no marks or anything like this...i do think that it must be midcentury or maybe even art deco? it was purchased with another table lamp that was german, specifically graeco luchten, but i don't think this one is german design.

@Irenka , to me it appears to be newer than the Art Deco period. Perhaps mid century, or even more recent. I'm not an expert on lamps, but you are right... that is a very unusual design!
