Featured Old {I think} Brooch

I know nothing about this. I did read the Wikipedia page on "brooch" which leads me to believe it's from the Art Deco period because of the Egyptian theme. It's just about 1 3/4" across. Don't know what the metal is but it feels kind of light.
I don't see any marks or writing anywhere on it.
Anyone have any insight on this piece?

Give it a clean, the marks are often small. See area marked, I think I can see something there. Likely to be 800 silver.

I see the mark, it is on the front, Egyptian mark for 800 silver.

 

Bronwen is good at spotting marks, she found this one on my brooch some time ago.

 

The trick is I know they will often put them in a place we would think will mar the piece, so I do not confine my looking to empty spaces. Think I saw one on Nefertiti's cheek one time.

!!! Kronos, did you notice the year? Is that the hammer price or with fees added? This is a surprising sum for an 800 silver tourist souvenir from mid-20th.

 

Well, it was an ebay sale, so that was the actual sold price plus whatever shipping was. The date was 2015.
