Austria? HP Pottery Vase

Hi, all! I've had this badly damaged hand painted pottery vase sitting around here for about 5 years now. I've always thought it might be from Austria. I was wanting to see if anyone recognizes this and can give me some more information. The painting on it is just stunning. It's 13" tall as it is now. Though, it's obvious it was taller at one time. LOL.

Might very well be Austrian, but I don't know for sure.

I thought the bird looked like a Kingfisher, but I wasn't able to find anything similar.
Now looking at it, it looks like a hummingbird.
Guess it's late. I better look again in the morning.

 

It's funny, I named the pictures "HummingbirdVase" but I'm not so sure that's what the bird is now. I guess it doesn't matter too much. I don't know what I'm going to do with it. Besides the top being chopped off, there's a big crack in the body. The only interest in it, I'm sure, would be the lovely painting on it. Maybe I'll just stick some artificial flowers in it to disguise the neck and put it on my mantle.

Looked again using Majolica Hummingbird
More hits than King Fisher, but nothing similar popped up.

I'd keep it. I think it's lovely.
