    I would guess Germany. They made boatloads of childrens' dishes with humorous decal themes. The different decals is another clue towards Germany as most Japanese childrens' dishes I've seen had the same decal on each plate.

    I think German. They were called "Kinder" something or the other.

    There's no reason the porcelain can't be French. They also produced these types of items just not in the quantity the Germans did.
