Unusual Dagger.

  1. Hello All,
I have found this dagger and was hoping that someone out there could help me identify it. It is 11 inches in length, the handle seems to be made out of wood. The blade is rusting, I think that means its steel of some sort. The guard looks like bronze and the ends of the wooden handle seem to have copper holding it together.
Thank You for any help in identifying this unusual dagger.

Looks like something a teenager would make.

komokwa The Truth is out there...!

Interesting blade....I'm thinking a casting..... with a ' somewhat' damascus look to it.
The guard looks cut from a piece of brass, with minor formed quillon on each side.
Copper ferrule...& wood handle.....& I can't see if there's a pommel...or if the full tang construction is beaten down at the end.

If a teen made this.....I'd call him a blade smith...
I'm seeing this as a boot dagger......
That's all I can say from what I see.
