Artist Ch. Delomil? Am I reading this right on this lithograph?

Picked up at thrift store. Can't find any artist by the name Charles Delomil but I never read signatures right and I do not have resources other than Google and Ebay. Do you recognize the painting or the signature, please? Measure 34x30 Thank you!

Looks like Chs Delomil to me too, but always worth trying other spellings!! Love the image too, BTW!!

Looks similar to William Delond's work, but then there is the Ch or Chs. Any ideas on that? I can't find a signature for William Delong's.

 

Have you seen a signature by Delond? Also am I reading 255/250? Isn't that odd? I am wondering if someone just grabbed a print and signed it themselves and put that on it. However the paper looks older, I think.

 

I think it is 255/350. Appears to be similar to the Paris Etching Society etchings. Looks like an aquatint.

 

It does look very much like their prints. The frame is awful, so I am going to take it out of it, or should I throw it away, and hope it is marked. There is a Paris Etching Society marking?

 

You would see the mark on the front if it was there. I think sometimes they have a little triangle with “szl” in it. Unfortunately I think your pic has only decorative value, they are very common. Artist only makes a difference in very rare cases with that era and style of print.
