Wrong question my new friend. If you like it then of course it's worth the $20. I believe the basket is Chinese and fairly recent. It is a pretty item, though, and if it makes you smile when you look at it then it's worth the price you paid. However, If bought the item to turn it over for a quick profit then I believe you will be disappointed.

Aren’t Fenton pieces notorious for having the oval sticker on the bottom before 1970?

It also is flat on the bottom and does not have a pontil mark...another characteristic of Fenton pieces....

You are correct but I don't believe this basket is Fenton. The handle is wrong and the color is not one of theirs. Also further note the base. Fenton tends to sit on a collared base with a shallow indent rather than a completely flat one like your basket. You are correct in that you will not find pontils on Fenton pieces.

Oh well...either way I like it! I bought it for myself not to resell...I was just curious . And yeah I couldn’t find this color amongst the Fenton pieces I’ve looked at either. Thanks for the info. I still can’t find it online lol
