Roycroft copper vase, real?

    I found two roycroft vases and need help figuring out if they are real or not. And their value. Thank you!

    I’m no expert but Roycroft made great stuff and the vases you pictured look like junk in comparison. Also the mark is quite unlike the Roycroft marks in the link above. I’m sorry but I’m sure your vases aren’t Roycroft products. As far as value, they are most likely worth what you paid for them. Put some flowers in them and be happy.

    No reason to believe these are not correct. If someone were to go to the trouble of faking a Roycroft vase, they would choose a more desirable form than this.

    One possibility is these are "modern Roycrofter" output. There are or were people working in the area again who were permitted to use the old mark as part of their new mark. If they're not old that might be what you've found.

    I sent out a message to Roycroftcopper and have just heard back. He stated that the mark and vases are very much real (1930) and would go for about $250 each on ebay. I'd say my $1.50 each investment was worth it!

    They are Hammered Copper Vases made by Roycroft. They are real.
