Featured Any thoughts on this necklace?

Hello everyone!
Any thoughts on this necklace? It is up for bids on ebay and seller's description sounds like me (confused): doesn't know what material it is--maybe plastic or lucite. He/she thinks it's vintage because it was purchased at estate sale.
I know the clasp looks more modern and maybe someone switched it out if the rest really is vintage (in this case 80's or older).

I'd like to bid on it if it's not something I could get online for less than $10.

China or India ??? Probably modern. There are such. Price $ 10. There is no description.

 

Plastic. Nice, but I'd not go more than 5.
