Japanese tea bowl?

    Was wondering if this was a japanese tea bowl? I found a couple online that was similar in design. Not sure of age though. Thank you for any info!

    It is Japanese yes, an early pattern print perhaps. Japan did not start Transfer printing on Japanese porcleain until 1888 and by 1920 pattern printing had replaced stenciling. This underglaze blue inbante is likely around 1900 or later.
