    It's a sort of costume enamel if that makes sense, made by a Scottish company called Dawson Bowman. PLays to my DNA!

    It it a St Andrew or am I imagining things? Celtic as all get-out. I love stripy lucite bangles. I had to google the Pisky; you wouldn't know I have a Cornish great-grand. She didn't leave much of anything to me except a taste for mince pie!

    It is indeed a saltire and a fine one. I've seen pisky brass figures before now, but not a brooch.
