Anyone Know What These Are Used For?

    I don't have the slightest idea. They're each around 3" long. 1/2" holes at the top and the bottom. I'll only post the tops and bottoms of the birds because the rest are basically the same.

    They were in with bags of beads - I don't know if there's any connection there but thought I'd mention it.

    Sorry, I know these are far from antique, but I was just hoping someone can tell me what they are used for.

    I THINK they were for incorporating in macrame hangings and hanging planter thingies....................

    That was my initial thought too, Mansons; thanks for the input. My mom was a huge macrame fan back in the 70's, and though she never had any plant hangers that had these on them, it seemed a likely use for them.

    Searching on ebay, I found something similar to these as well as the exact same beads that were in the bag with them.

    Agreed; they're way too big for jewelry but would be dead on for plant hangers.
