Ceramic bell thingys

    Found these the other day, I'm thinking something to do with bells

    They have an internal screw thread

    Thinking they must be missing an internal mechanism

    Were they for table top type bells ?

    Any age ?

    Any thoughts appreciated

    To me they seem like those things in hotels to call attention
