International Sterling Tie Bar Money Clip

Kind of stuck on this trying to figure out if it is a money clip or tie bar. In good overall order watch is in running condition. I have not been able to find a comparable to even price this. Thoughts?

From a practical perspective - if it was intended as a tieclip, the wearer would not be able to read the time on the "watch" without taking it off, right? So I would vote for money clip in that case.

 

Yes, I agree. The orientation of the watch face is wrong for a tie clip. But who knew that combination money clip + watch was a thing?

Ah, thank you! I was leaning that way, but clearly I was over thinking the darn thing. I just don't know what it is like to play dress up anymore....darn the beach life. It is definitely a solid name, came out of a fru fru estate lot. Of course, the T&Co brooch was spot on to T&Co but missing the T&Co mark....lol Trust but verify sigh...
