Huge Brass Photograph Frame

    I specialise in ceramics so this is something I am not familiar with.

    It is a very big (39cm tall) brass photo frame in the shape of a leaf. It will hold a photo measuring about 12x15.5cm (4.75 x 6.2”). It weighs just over 2kg.

    I’m not sure if it has been polished or has always been like this (I think it would look good patinated).

    My suspicion is French early 20th c but has a one else seen one like it? Reverse image search has drawn a blank.

    While I can not confirm, my hunch is that this is a rather modern import.

    Thank you. I think that the screws rule it out as modern.

    Can't see the screws properly,but all and all is just seems pretty modern to me too.
