One More Mystery Basket...Please help Identify

    Several locations in Africa are known for their combination of leather with coiled basketry, but it's found primarily in Nigeria and Ethiopia (along with tribes in neighboring eastern African countries.) This appears to be from eastern Africa, probably Ethiopia, but the top does look a little odd. Could you include a photo of the basket without the "lid" on it. (Or is the lid upside down?)

    @Taupou Attached are some pics inside the basket with the lid off. The lid is attached with a piece of leather and there are 2 very long braided straps........to carry it? They are almost like whips
