Looks like 50's "space age" design. What size?

In terms of use - probably lunch or "sandwich" size. It's made of pottery rather than porcelain and thick like the kind of plates used in casual restaurants or diners. Too bad there is no maker name on the bottom.

Another search term for the pattern: "boomerang"

At 6 1/2" it is considered a bread plate
Replacements.com has a feature where you can search with a picture
You can try there for a pattern name and maker
    good luck
