    Welcome, Chad.
    As inh said, it is a Foo Dog or Lion. It is Chinese and original, because it is a piece that comes from a continuing tradition. No great age, but great character, and very nicely made.

    Blanc de Chine, probably from Dehua. Not wildly old, but nice.

    It is unusual to call present-day white glazed porcelain Blanc-de-Chine, just like we don't call recently commissioned porcelain Chine-de-commande. But it could have been made in Dehua, just like antique Blanc-de-Chine.

    Anyone have a ballpark estimate on when made 60s, 70s, 80s, etc? Also any idea on what it’s worth? Thank you
